KiwiTomatoStudio built Randombox as a free, ad-supported app for iOS and Android. This service is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is. This page explains how information is handled when you use the app.
Information we collect
Randombox does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address or other personal information. The lists, weights, settings and results you create are stored only on your device. We do not collect, upload or have access to them.
Advertising
Randombox is supported by ads served by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect and use information such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, device model and operating system version. We, the developer, cannot access this information.
- iOS: the app asks for your permission through App Tracking Transparency before any tracking. You can change this at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your device's Google settings.
Third-party services
The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. Please refer to their privacy policies:

Backup & restore
When you create a backup, the file is generated on your device and you decide where to save or share it. We never receive a copy of your backup.
Log data
If an error occurs in the app, third-party products may collect data and information on your phone called Log Data. This may include your device's IP address, device name, operating system version, the app configuration, the time and date of your use, and other statistics.
Cookies
The app does not use cookies explicitly. However, it may use third-party code and libraries that use cookies or similar technologies to collect information and improve their services.
This website
This website does not use cookies or analytics. The contact form simply opens your own email app; nothing you type is sent to or stored on our servers.
Security
We value your trust and use commercially acceptable means to protect information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Children's privacy
Randombox is not directed to anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
